The creation of the GRANTed online 3D anatomical models was made possible through the work of a dedicated team of educators, technical staff and students from the University of Toronto Division of Anatomy and Biomedical Communications Program, with collaborative input from anatomy educators from Humber College, Guelph University, McMaster University and Western University. This online, three-dimensional resource has been developed purposefully so that each model matches 1-4 images (plates) found in Grant’s Atlas of Anatomy and is intended to be an adjunct learning tool designed to support many different learning scenarios including at-home studying, remote and in-person learning, and class or laboratory integration. The adoption or use of Grant's Atlas is highly encouraged to facilitate the learner in identifying the features and landmarks of each specimen, as the labels included for each model is minimal and meant to only be a starting point for orientation. Access to models is provided to anatomical courses in Ontario post-secondary institutions only. The instructor of record for each course must submit a request for access to the GRANTed project models for use by their learners and instructors. Information on this process is included in the Educator's Guide in the eCampus Ontario Library. Please note, in order to use these models, you will need to have an institutional learning management system (LMS) with password protection (student login/password access) which limits access to only those enrolled in your course. Models will be accessible through embed codes you can place on your course LMS platform. Models can be freely used for your course learning purposes in their current form only - no remixing, repurposing, or sampling of the original models for any reason is permitted as per the Ontario Commons License – No Derivatives protecting this resource.en_US
