Abstract: This project developed two simulated, virtual reality scenarios for medical, nursing, and other health professional students to practice suicide risk assessment. By the end of the virtual reality suicide risk assessment simulation, learners will be able to: 1. Appraise which collected factors are modifiable in the patient’s life 2. Organize the factors collected into the P4 screener categories. 3. Identify risk and protective factors by conducting a suicide risk assessment. 4. Demonstrate the process of building a therapeutic alliance with the patient.
