Abstract: This course on Best Practices in Developing and Teaching with XR Learning Simulations is offered as 23 separate interactive learning modules created in Articulate Rise. Creating and utilizing teaching simulations can be a formidable challenge for schools. The modules in this professional development course will help guide post-secondary institutions to identify the type of simulation (AR/VR/XR, branching scenarios, 360 tours etc.) that would work for their institutional and learner context. These modules will give educators the opportunity to explore best practices in simulation development and strategies to provide pedagogical support for faculty new to teaching with simulations.
