Abstract: The Hamlet VR Experience is a short fully interactive VR program featuring the first scene from William Shakespeare's Hamlet playable on the Oculus Rift. Users will embody Bernardo and take part in the opening sequence with the castle guards and the ghost to set the tone for Shakespeare in VR. Designed as an interactive as well as educational experience, users will have some agency but also bear witness an all-new digitally designed experiences of first 15 minutes of one of the world's most famous plays.
