Stories of Hope: Reflections on Resilience is an ongoing project consisting of personal essays and other narrative or artistic forms. The goal of the project is to share stories of hope in the face of adversity. The essay in this first volume is a first-person account of living with multiple sclerosis (MS), which makes it particularly relevant to students in disability studies, healthcare professions, and community or human services professions. The learning assessments included in this volume are designed specifically for learners in the Occupational Therapist Assistant & Physiotherapist Assistant program at Conestoga College. Future iterations of the project will have different discipline-specific applications.en_US
