This resource seeks to provide a comprehensive introduction into topics in basic life sciences blended with pharmaceutical chemistry by providing an overview of the different (and the most common) drugs that are available on the market and their mechanism-of-action. This includes clinical drugs used in blood clotting, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and neuropathic pain. Each episode highlights a specific class of drugs, the underlying physiology of the disease it treats, the fundamental chemistry principles behind the drug design, and the atomic-level mechanism of action.en_US
