Effective occupational therapist (OT) and OT-assistant (OTA) collaboration improves client, occupational therapy and system outcomes. OT-OTA collaboration barriers exist in the Canadian context, influencing occupational therapy outcomes (Avvampato et al., 2022). OTs and OTAs have an opportunity to enhance OT-OTA collaboration and, in turn, impact occupational therapy outcomes.en_US
In response to a need identified in an environmental scan, this resource was developed to support OT-OTA collaboration preparedness in the Canadian context. This resource shares foundational knowledge, skills, and attitudes to support OT and OTA collaboration.en_US
