Abstract

In this Open Educational Resource (OER), students will explore key topics related to psychological science, including how psychologists ask questions, gather evidence, and apply theory to understand human behaviour and mental processes. The chapters emphasize clear explanations of foundational concepts (e.g., development, learning, memory, emotion, social behaviour, and biopsychology) while consistently linking ideas to the kinds of situations students may encounter in human services.
