Abstract: The first module in the series The Essentials of Conducting Systematic Reviews explores the rationale for systematic reviews, types of systematic reviews, and systematic review research quality considerations.
At the end of this module, learners will be able to:
1. Discuss the role and purpose of systematic reviews,
2. Identify different types of systematic review questions,
3. Identify different types of systematic review designs,
4. Recognize the steps of a systematic review,
5. Discuss the importance of using rigorous methods to produce high-quality systematic reviews.
