Abstract: | The COVID-19 pandemic has revealed the need for improving health technology management and creating a common practice in all health technology acquisitions and utilizations. Digital content in this course will facilitate the acquisition of knowledge and skills in health technology management and make it available for postsecondary institutions. There are ten modules within this course: the introductory module, module 1: health technology planning & medical equipment replacement, module 2: health technology assessment, module 3: health technology acquisition, module 4: good management practice and medical equipment, module 5: human resource management, module 6: risk management, module 7: health technology performance indicators, module 8: asset management, and module 9: medical equipment audits. |
