Abstract: | Students will learn to create successful social media marketing campaigns that focus on digital storytelling and feature compelling content. Learners will become familiar with best practices for marketing on leading social media platforms, learn to identify the right target audiences, and discover strategies for creating a variety of digital content to engage their audience. The learning outcomes are 1. Develop an outline of a social media marketing campaign--2. Compare and contrast the role of Blogs/Vlogs in a social media campaign, and learn how to select the appropriate channels and formats for Blog/Vlog content--3. Identify and distinguish the differences in the foundations of specific social media platforms and identify the appropriate use of Facebook for content marketing.--4. Identify and distinguish the differences in the foundations of specific social media platforms. Specifically, identify the appropriate use of Instagram for content marketing.--5. Identify and distinguish the differences in the foundations of specific social media platforms. Identify the appropriate use of Twitter for content marketing.--6. Identify and distinguish the differences in the foundations of specific social media platforms. Specifically, identify the appropriate use of YouTube for content marketing. This micro-credential includes learning lessons, student activities, and assignments. The course can be downloaded into a learning management system such as Desire2Learn or Brightspace. |
