Abstract: Mrs. Dalloway (1925) is a novel by English writer Virginia Woolf. The novel follows a day in the life of Clarissa Dalloway, a fictional high-society woman in post–WWI England, as she prepares for a party she will host in the evening, and the ensuing party. It is one of Woolf's best-known novels.
