Abstract: The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1886) is a Gothic novella by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson. The story follows Gabriel John Utterson—a legal practitioner from London—as he investigates strange occurrences between his friend, Dr. Henry Jekyll, and the evil Edward Hyde.
