Abstract: Republic (circa 375 BC) is a Socratic dialogue by Plato. The text explores topics like justice, the order and character of the just city-state, and the just man. It is one of the most influential works of philosophy and political theory—both intellectually and historically—in the world, thus marking it as Plato's best-known work.
