Abstract: The Educators in Focus series features more than 50 instructional videos made by Ontario educators for Ontario educators as a way to inform their professional development, discover new strategies and implement innovative pedagogical practices. In this video, Ontario educator Lisa Malcolm explains the role and purpose of Christian meditation in Ontario catholic schools. She defines what meditation involves while outlining several benefits including a deepening of one’s faith, relaxation and stress management. Lisa also explores how concentration, commitment and regular practice of meditation are required in order to achieve a stronger relationship with God.
