Abstract: Rethinking Assessment Strategies for Online Learning - Exemplar Collection is a companion resource to Rethinking Assessment Strategies for Online Learning: a short course for post-secondary educators. It contains a compilation of authentic and alternative assessment examples shared by post-secondary educators across Ontario. Each example includes links to relevant learning outcomes, a brief description of the assessment, and recommended course level. For some exemplars, there are links to the full assignment and grading rubric, if available. Some instructors have opted to record a short video testimonial summarizing their assignment. This resource can be customized with new exemplars using the templates provided.
