Abstract: This software package includes 3 simulations. The first simulation is a workplace sensitivity training with a focus on Anti-Black racism; the second is a workplace sensitivity training with a focus on sexism; and the third is a leadership development simulation. Together, the three simulations will provide students with an opportunity to experience organizational forces that affect their wellbeing and decision making in positive and negative ways. Each simulation offers a learning mode that guides users through their experience with ongoing video reflections, an explore mode that lets users take screenshots for subsequent discussions, and a decision mode that let’s users experience the simulations without interruptions.
To take advantage of the latest immersive technology and increase student learning, the simulations were developed to be used with a PC based virtual reality (VR) headset. However, to ensure that the software can be used by all college and university students, we also provide versions that work with PCs and Macs.
