Abstract: This textbook discusses Black epistemologies, understandings, ontologies, relationalities, and liberations in a settler state like Canada. It is a small contribution to the emerging and growing field of Black Studies in Canada. By reading works from Black community organizers, activists, students, community health leaders, journalists, and scholars – students and Black communities will learn about the diverse experiences and realities of Black populations across this country.
