| dc.description.abstract | Syllabus Design Foundations (SDF) is a self-paced professional learning program that supports instructors in developing new course syllabi or revising existing ones. Through three modules, participants explore the role of the syllabus in higher education, embed inclusive teaching practices, and apply principles of accessibility and usability to syllabus design. Topics include learner-centred syllabus development, equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), Universal Design for Learning (UDL), accessibility, document design, and student engagement. Designed for higher education instructors, educational developers, and graduate students, the program encourages small, intentional revisions that help transform the syllabus from a static course document into a dynamic tool that supports motivation, belonging, and student success. | en_US |
