Abstract: This textbook covers key concepts of embryology and principles of development in an understandable but detailed enough pace for advanced undergraduate students. Intended audience is advanced (3rd/4th year) undergraduate students who has foundational genetics and cell biology knowledge. The focus of narrative is on the key processes of the development instead of dry terminology or descriptive storytelling. Wherever possible, a not well-trodden path was taken in the transdisciplinary realm across life and physical sciences to satiate the joyful inquiry of ‘why’.
