From anxiety to action : A clinical instructor guide to safe and confident medication administration

Abstract

Clinical instructors are the bridge between the classroom, lab and the clinical environment. They are in a unique position to mitigate the anxiety many students feel about medication administration and the potential for errors. With this information in mind, this resource has been developed to focus on building clinical instructors’ skills in supporting students as they learn safe medication administration. In addition to guiding the process of safe medication administration, practical application examples and resources are also provided.
