dc.description.abstract In this program, we will examine the challenges stemming from the widespread digitization of medical records, the integration of connected medical devices, and the growing threat landscape in the digital realm. Our aim is to provide you with insights into the challenges and opportunities posed by cybersecurity in healthcare. Throughout this program, you will participate in activities aimed at reinforcing your understanding of the material, gain access to an implementation toolkit designed to support your application of the standard, have the opportunity to evaluate a real-world cybersecurity scenario, and determine strategies and solutions to enhance cybersecurity resilience and protect sensitive data from cyber threats by following the guidelines of the National Standard of Canada, CAN/DGSI 118. The standard was co-developed by HealthCareCAN and DGSI, with support from Public Safety Canada’s Cyber Security Cooperation Program. en_US
