Abstract:
This Guide aims to promote equitable access to higher education by fostering skills related to financial aid and scholarship applications. With a range of interactive, multi-media resources, “Pay for Post-Secondary: A Student’s Guide for Securing Financial Aid” will help students to distinguish between the types of financial aid and scholarship available, identify the costs associated with pursuing higher education and calculate their expenses, as well as craft competitive resumes and scholarship applications. The Guide is complemented by a customizable Scholarship Dashboard that students can access for free via Notion. The Scholarship Dashboard allows students to track their scholarship applications, extracurricular experiences, finances, and more!
