Abstract:
Designed for upper-year computer science students, this book introduces the main concepts in cognitive science from the perspective of computer science. It presents the history of cognitive science, and how computer science is involved. Topics such as computational linguistics, connectionism, and the theory of computing are introduced. It tries to show that AI is more than just Clippy and ChatGPT. This textbook is designed to complement additional cognitive science resources.
