dc.description.sponsorship	In 2016, the Faculty of Media & Creative Arts (FMCA) at Humber College received a Broadcasting Accessibility Fund (BAF) grant to develop the first version of Making Accessible Media (MAM). In 2019, FMCA received a second BAF grant for a project called Accessibility as Aesthetic: Three films and a podcast. The 2021 version of the course is funded by eCampus Ontario.	en_US

dc.description.abstract	Making Accessible Media is an online course that teaches how to incorporate accessibility features into media content with the understanding that accessibility should not be an afterthought but part of the initial development process. The course raises awareness of the systemic, attitudinal, physical, information, and technological barriers that interrupt accessibility in current media practices and includes content about representation and raising awareness of disability.	en_US
