Abstract: | Practical Business Communication for Knowledge Workers: From Job Application to Promotion will focus on the multicultural and diverse twenty-first century workplace. This Pressbook will equip learners with strategies and techniques to navigate the growing complexity of the Canadian workplace and build learners’ core competencies.
Using Modules 1 through 4 (as outlined below), learners will begin by applying for a position within an organization, experience the onboarding process by studying corporate etiquette, navigate interpersonal challenges with others, and then compete for a promotion.
