Digital Learning Producers Training Program

Abstract

This Digital Learning Producers Training Program provides training to students or recent graduates, like yourself, to become Digital Learning Producers. You will learn the appropriate technical skills to support online instructors. Students will be trained to use Open Broadcast Software (OBS Studio, an open-source software we have confirmed is being used at many institutions throughout Ontario) in conjunction with Virtual Cameras to integrate them with video conferencing platforms, like Zoom, Teams, and BB Collaborate. The skills taught in this program will enhance synchronous and asynchronous instruction with a more innovative presentation. Prior to completion of the training, you will assess and evaluate your ability to adapt your new Digital Learning Producer skills and collaborate in online instruction development. Upon completing the program, you will be prepared to assist any online instructor with virtual instruction, regardless of discipline, with developing dynamic online instruction.
