Davinci Resolve : Intermediate

Abstract

This course aims to provide an introductory level overview of DaVinci Resolve as a creative tool within Media Arts in Video Production, through the development of various time-based projects instructed by multimedia artist Maris Hoicka. Hoicka covers workflows that includes: scopes, color balancing, shot matching, delivery, inspector, grading log, LUTs, and file delivery. These modules place a strong emphasis on learning creative techniques to video production while producing artistic outcomes. Students with an interest in producing time-based projects with DaVinci Resolve will get a close understanding of using software to support narrative construction, and visual communication through the perspective of a media artist.
