Abstract:
This graduate course and accompanying textbook Billexamines research, policy and educational practices surrounding digital privacy and online learning in education. As more students move online, more critical analysis of the digital privacy risks to students and educators is needed, as well as new policies. Students will critically analyze international research to gain awareness of how different jurisdictions are responding to issues such as the potential loss of privacy and control over their personal information. The companion text book examines digital privacy and leadership from a variety of perspectives and is meant to complement the course materials.
