dc.description.abstract This project includes a series of learner-centered lab modules including the use of interactive applications and mapping, imagery and virtual rock analysis, construction of geological cross-sections and 3D models, and geophysics exercises using open-access applications. Real-time datasets, field site analysis, and case studies incorporated in labs provide authentic learning experiences and develop industry-related skills, including up-skilling and re-skilling for the current and future workforce. The labs foster a sense of place and connection to the environment, provide students with active and authentic learning experiences, and make the study of Earth accessible to a diverse group of post-secondary students. The labs are provided in a digital format suitable for hybrid, in-person or remote learning. The lab modules are provided as a zipped content package in IMS Common cartridge format exported from the Canvas LMS, which can be imported to any Learning Management System. Materials are ‘Ready to use’ as whole labs, partial labs, or modified activities. en_US
