Abstract: The second module in the series The Essentials of Conducting Systematic Reviews explores the development of systematic review questions and protocols.
At the end of this module, learners will be able to:
1. Describe the importance of creating a well-formulated review question;
2. Identify the elements of a well-formulated review question;
3. Formulate a review question using the PICOS framework;
4. Develop eligibility criteria for a systematic review;
5. Recognize the key features for reporting a protocol (PRISMA-P).
